Principal’s Report
Opera House performance.
On Thursday night, 22nd September our Choir will be performing at the Opera House as part of a spectacular concert involving many schools, many parents and teachers will be attending to watch the performance. A big thankyou to the teachers involved with the choir – Mr Baker and Mrs Mo’ungatonga, who have given up a great deal of their free time to prepare our students. We wish them all well! It will be a fabulous night.
Fathers’ Day Stall
Last week the P&C held a Fathers’ Day stall. All classes got the opportunity to visit the stall. It seems like lots of amazing gifts were purchased to make this year’s Father’s Day special. A big thankyou to the P&C for this great initiative!

Swimming Scheme
The schools swimming scheme program will be starting next week with 8 lessons for only $112 for all students from Year 2 to Year 6. There are NO SPACES for this year’s program it is full. Please ensure all money has been paid by this Friday. Being able to swim is an important life skill that everyone should have! Thank you to Mrs Kimura for all her organisation for this very important program.
P & C Meeting
The next P&C meeting will be on Thursday very soon. Interpreters will be available to assist you. I hope to see many parents there!
These meetings are a great opportunity for parents to hear about all the wonderful things happening in our school and provide an opportunity to ask questions they might have directly to the Principal or Deputy Principal.

Road Safety around Our School – GO 40 FOR ME!
Parents please be aware of the road rules around school for the safety of our students and whole school community. We have had a number of parents disobeying these road rules. The Council has been seen around the school fining people for not following these rules. These fines are the responsibility of the parents and not the school. For the safety of everyone please BE AWARE, BE SAFE and SLOW DOWN! The speed limit around schools is 40.
